Restaurant/places to eat in Richmond Hotel Asakusa

The location was fabulous. Nice & close to the back area of Sensoji temple. Lots of shopping nearby, supermarket, Don Quiote & numerous eating establishments. I felt very safe walking around at night. 5 minute walk to train station and also within walking distance to Kappabashi. Used the laundry room, super clean, modern & easy to use. I left one of my cases there for 4 days (free of charge) & it was in my room when I checked back in. Both stays I had a lovely view of Sensoji and Skytree, more beautiful at night. Had breakfast and there is a good selection for GF eaters. Super efficient, helpful & friendly staff throughout the hotel. Will definitely stay here next visit, definitely recommend.

Extraordinarilly helpful staff, even by the high standards of Japan. Very good room. Suitable for two people and their suitcases, but not spacious. Great view. Excellent self checkout. Fantastic location.

Great location in Asakusa, next to Senso-Ji. We got upgraded to a top floor room with great views of the temple and SkyTree tower. Clean and comfortable bed. Room comes with the usual amenities (pyjamas, slippers, kettle).

Lobby or reception in Richmond Hotel Asakusa

The location is ideal for a stay in Asakusa. It is very near the main temple complex and is a convenient place to travel to if arriving from Narita airport. The room was small, as is often standard for Tokyo hotel rooms, but is was comfortable and everything worked. The amenities were practical and useful and the modular bathroom was of a good standard. Cleaning of the room and linen changes were done well and efficiently

Food and drinks in Richmond Hotel Asakusa

Right in the center of Tokyo, hotel is right next to the gate of Asakusa temple, 3 min walk tops, and within walking distance to almost all attractions in Asakusa. Staff is beyond professional, when I booked a taxi for 5:30am, the staff thought it might not be enough time for me to get to the airport so she changed the taxi time for me and she paid for the extra charge out of her own pocket.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Asukusa. It's next door to the Senso-ji Temple, and there are many restaurants and shops close by. Kappabashi St is only a 10 min walk away, and fun to explore. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While the room was on the small side, it was comfortable enough for 2 adults and luggage. Our room 1103 had a spectacular view of the temple and Skytree Tower. Ask for 03 numbered room!

This hotel is the one if you love the festive vibe of Asakusa. It's located at the center of busy shops alley, plus if you like Fuglen, Uniqlo, or Donki, this hotel is right in front of those shops. The biggest satisfaction for this hotel is the view of Sensoji Temple in line with Tokyo Skytree from the 11th floor. It was a spectacular view from above, especially during sunset and night time.

The location is great for Tokyo visitors. You can easily get to both Haneda and Narita on the subway from Asakusa. It is a no frills hotel with small rooms, typical of Japan. There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves a buffet breakfast and has some European options. A few of the staff speak English but google translate works well. There is a coin laundry in the hotel. It is good value for money compared to other hotels in Tokyo.
